Philip III was born in 1578 in Madrid.
He was the son of Philip II and Anne of Austria. After Philip III become king he showed himself to be indolent and indifferent to his responsibilities.
One year after his reign, he got married with Margaret of Austria.
In 1619, he suffered the firsts attacks of an illness. He died in 1621 in Madrid.
